BIRGANJ, Feb 2 (TIWN): Lalita Das has been arrested for killing her husband Arun Das (42) brutally by hitting him with a hammer. Lalita Das's son said, his father Arun Das brought another woman in home and used to torture his mother. Yesterday night, amid arguments, Lalita Das hit Arun Das with a hammer failing all attempts taken by her children to stop her from doing this violent act. Arun Das was immediately taken to hospital in critical conditions where he was pronounced dead.

Birganj police taken Lalita Das into custody and produced her before the court followed by interrogations.
