AGARTALA, Jan 1 (TIWN): A working old woman who used to make brick chips died after being hit by a train.

The incident happened in Teliamura subdivision’s Trishabari rail bridge area after the 58-year-old Ujjala Das was run over by an Agartala-Karimganj DEMU train.

At the primary inspection, police suspected she died in a rail accident but her body has been sent for post-mortem for further investigation.
