UDAIPUR, February 6 (TIWN): District & Session Judge Asish Paul today convicted one Dharmaraj Jamatia of Kuwaiyamara under Pitra Out Post brutally killing his younger brother Surendra Jamatia few year back.
It is to be mentioned here that on 1st August 2012 Dharmaraj Jamatia in a fit of temper struck Surendra with an axe and as a result of it Surendra was killed on the spot.
As per the complaint lodged in Pitra O P Officer In Charge Bipin Chandra Debbarma investigated the after and submitted the charge sheet with in six months .
Meanwhile after hearing the statement of the witnesses District & Session Judge Asish Paul today announced his verdict sending Dharmaraj Jamatia for 7 years imprisonment and also imposed a penalty of Rs 10000/- and six months more imprisonment if penalty remains unpaid. The Magistrate gave the order as per 302 and 341 of IPC.
