AGARTALA, Nov 20 (TIWN): As the dead body of martyr Subhankar Bhowmik reached Tripura, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha was present at Agartala MBB Airport to receive the brave soul back to his mother state.

Governor Indra Sena Nallu was also present and paid homage to the martyr.

Subhankar Bhowmik was martyred in Siachen during his on-duty moments in Jammu & Kashmir.

Siachen martyred Subhankar Bhowmik is a resident of Amarpur subdivision of Tripura.

The resident of Birganj Panchayat of Amarpur died in Jammu and Kashmir's Siachen in Galesia area.
