AGARTALA, Nov 20 (TIWN): Tripura Congress MLA Sudip Barman used a metaphor blaming Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Mayor Dipak Majumder for hazardous plastic pollution in Agartala, by putting so many of his photo-added banners in the city.
Barman said, “Too much of posters of the Mayor are displayed across the city, resulted in their remaining blocking the soil and causing the flood.”
“How would the water pass? So many such banners are seen around and these nondegradable items are blocking the water to pass,” added Barman pinching the BJP Party and Government on its expenditure for poster ads.
Barman was addressing at Sakuntala market in the Sanghati Yatra closing campaigning.
He further hammered on the BJP govt on the law and order issues and rising unemployment.
