AGARTALA, Nov 11 (TIWN): Agartala GRP Police arrested two persons in connection to 300 KG Ganja seizure.

Two Bihari men named Bittu Kumar (27), and Anukul Kumar (23). Both were working as bedroll boys in the train.

The seizure took place after police were informed via secret sources regarding Ganja-carriages.

From Agartala Railway Station Platform No-1 total 298.55 KG of Ganja was seized from 24 boxes.

These drugs were planned to be smuggled from Agartala to Bihar via Deoghar Express, packed into 282 boxes.

The seized items would be worth Rs. 35.76 lakhs, said police.
