Agartala, Nov 16 (TIWN): Assam Rifles today, 16th November organized an informative lecture for students of Assam Rifles Public School, Agartala on the occasion of International Student's Day. The session aimed to guide students on digital literacy in today's world and various aspects of Social Media platforms. A total of 60 students participated in the event and gained experience in digital literacy. A press statement issued by Assam Rifles Agartala stated this.
The statement said that the lecture provided detailed information on pros and cons of Social Media to students and various practices that they can undertake to mitigate overuse of these platforms. The lecture also harped upon the digital scams and online malpractices that the students might face, encouraging them to take correct measures that can help them to avoid online traps and also educate their peers and parents on the same.
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, allowing students to express their thoughts and receive further guidance on Digital well being. The efforts by Assam Rifles was appreciated by school authorities and students which enhanced their knowledge and gave them a better understanding about Digital Literacy.
