BISHALGARH, Nov 7 (TIWN): With the rising crimes in the Bishalgarh subdivision, tourist spots even remain unsafe there. A couple was targeted by a miscreant, who claimed his name is Sakil Khan and a Forest Range officer. He used filthy language, assaulted them and snatched Rs. 3,000 from the boy. Then he was trying to snatch their cell-phones and then the couple screamed which led the miscreant to flee from the spot. The victim Nayan Sarkar complained to the police and officials present there. Right now, it can not be said, if the person actually an officer or not.
“He looted my money. I really do not care much but the way he behaved it’s unacceptable. It hit my dignity,” the boy said.

“We want justice in this case. What happened to us, it can happen with anyone. Police must take a strict action,” Nayan said.
It can be mentioned here, Sepahijala sanctuary is very restricted and people have to purchase ticket, follow the guidelines to enter. Amid such security how such an incident could take place, it raised question.
A government official on duty called this incident as “unfortunate”.
