NEW DELHI, Oct 19 : Terror in the Sky ! Indian Airlines Grapple with Unrelenting Bomb Threat Menace. Five flights from Indigo, one flight of Air India Express receive bomb threats. So far this week, at least 70 flights of Indian carriers have received bomb threats and most of them turned out to be hoaxes, said report.
A surge in bomb threats continues to plague Indian airlines, forcing emergency landings and sparking widespread concern. On October 19, IndiGo and Air India flights were compelled to make unscheduled landings in response to ominous calls.
IndiGo bore the brunt of these threats, with four international flights (6E 11, 6E 17, 6E 58, 6E 108) and one domestic flight (6E 184) targeted. The airline assured swift action, collaborating closely with authorities to ensure passenger safety.
