AGARTALA, Oct 16 (TIWN): People purchased various items from the markets ahead of the house-to-house Lakshmi puja.

Now factory-made traditional sweet items are available in the market. Households are taking them home to offer as ‘bhog’ to Goddess Lakshmi.

Also, paintings known as ‘alpona’ are available in the market as stickers and people are purchasing them too.

On Wednesday buyers gathered in the market ahead of Lakshmi puja in Agartala.
