AGARTALA, Oct 4 (TIWN): The forest department seized wood worth Rs. 10 lakhs in Kadamtala.
After being informed via a secret source the forest officials reached Kadamtala’s Saraspur area at around 12 O’clock on Friday.
In Sarashpur, Ward No-1 Tapan Sarma’s house was raided by the officials and seized huge quantity of woods of various types.
A case was lodged against the house owner for illegally storing woods after buying them from unauthorized sources.
