AMBASSA, Feb 5 (TIWN): Another tribal girl became rape victim in this state of ‘golden regime’. The incident took place at Shantipara of Kulai under Ambassa police station. Police nabbed the accused SPO jawan Pradip Debnath within three hours of the complaint.

The incident took place on Tuesday last. Tuesday is the market day of Kulai market.

And for marketing that girl namely Sanchita Debbarma (name changed) went to Kulai. Pradip knew the girl when he was posted at Ghantachara of kulai.

He invited Sanchita to his home. Accordingly, the girl went into his house. Not having his mother or wife at home, Pradip invited the girl for physical relation. But Sanchita denied.

Then he forcefully tied her with ropes and raped her several times.

In the evening Pradip set the girl free and Sanchita going back home informed her parents everything in details.

Then today morning, Sanchita filed a complaint against Pradip with Ambassa police station and the police station registered a case vide no. 06/15 under 376 and 506 sections of IPC.

Within three hours of registering the case, police nabbed the accused Pradip.
