AGARTALA, Sep 23 (TIWN): A youth is undergoing treatment at GB Hospital after a bear attacked him and left him critically injured.

The incident happened in Kanchanpur subdivision, Dashda, Helepur.

Youth Pramit Kumar Reang was attacked by the bear when he was working in his Jhum land.

Hearing his screaming, family members rushed to the spot, and from there, he was rushed to Dharmanagar District Hospital.

Pramit Reang is critical. He is married and has three kids. Family members are reeling under severe tension due to Pratim’s deteriorating health conditions.
