BELONIA, Sep 23 (TIWN): CPI-M party on Monday staged a protest in Belonia alleging massive discrimination in flood compensation allocations.

The party staged a protest, walked a rally, and then gathered at a place where senior CPI-M leaders delivered speeches.

Tripura was recently affected by a heavy flood causing hundreds of crores of losses.

CPI-M demanded the disaster should be declared as a national disaster.
