AGARTALA, Sep 12 (TIWN): A group of college students blocked the road in Agartala Abala Chowmuhani blocking the route for officegoers, businessmen, and others as it’s one of the major routes of the city. Talking to media, one of the students said, “They are doing partiality with us. If we had failed in one subject, it was okay but they failed us in all subjects. We appeared in all exams from written to viva, and submitted all assignments. How could we fail then?”
Due to their road blockade vehicles remained stranded for hours in the capital city.
At a point massive argument erupted among the people stranded on road and the agitators.
“We already met the Director and requested a review. We urged you to pass us and we will clear the back in the third semester. But as the authorities are not agreeing with us, we are forced to sit in protest,” said another agitator.
Similar protests were staged recently in various placed in the state by college students. Many students failed from first semester to third semester, leading outcry among the students.
