Kiran Debbarma attempted to rape a housewife in who lives in rent in the Lake Chowmuhani area.

She belongs to a poor background. To strengthen the financial conditions, the victim along with her husband are staying in Agartala and selling vegetable in the city.

She was continuously disturbed by Kiran Chakma and against her wish, Kiran allegedly tried to go close to her. When protested, Kiran threatened to murder her husband.

She complained many times to her husband but he did not find any ground to file case. At last the husband could catch Kiran redhanded when Kiran tried to rape his wife.

After the FIR was lodged, police immediately arrested Kiran.
