AGARTALA, Sep 7 (TIWN): Accusing BJP MLA Tafajjal Hossain of insulting the Muslim community, Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind asked the MLA to prove what he said.

Citing freedom fighters, President APJ Abdul Kalam who has dedicated their life to the nation, Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind leader said, the MLA must take back his words in the Assembly.

“The MLA did not spare any Muslim…. We condemn his statement,” he said.

Tafajjal Hossain is Boxanagar BJP MLA, who won the poll after a by-poll vacated since the previous MLA quit the post after allegedly she did not get the CM post.
