Local people suspect due to heavy flood water which overflowed the ponds he has died.

After seeing his body floating on the pond, locals informed police. Getting information, police officials rushed to the spot and recovered his body, sent for post mortem.

The deceased Gautam Das, S/O-Mahananda Das has a son but his wife died long back. Right now, his son has become orphan with his tragic death.

Local people also claimed, Gautam Das remained drunk many times and probably because of that he drowned after losing control.
