AGARTALA, Aug 16 (TIWN): Congress supporters’ house has been vandalized by miscreants. The Congress supporters Kuldeep Bahadur and Govinda Bahadur are brothers who were attacked by the miscreants in their AD Nagar’s Baganbari house. Congress state president Asish Saha visited the home and talked to the victim's family. An FIR was lodged in the West Agartala Police station. Talking to the media, Asish Saha said, the attack was held to pressurize the family to withdraw a case which they filed after one of the family members was attacked by a miscreant.The Congress leader alleged that the attack took place by BJP led by local councilor Mr. Alak.

Congress demanded justice in this incident, requesting police to identify the culprits.
