AGARTALA, Aug 9 (TIWN): The panchayat poll rigging, allegations by ruling party people have remained evident on videos but the election commission has so far remained silent.

Apart from videos that were made viral where voters are prevented or ruling politicians such as Pratima Bhowmik, and Bindu Debnath area threatening people, there are instances were the ruling BJP party’s people themselves openly discussed poll rigging.

In a video, revealed on Friday, BJP Vice President Patal Kanya Jamatia is accusing police officials of their negligence role alleging poll rigging.

However, amid all these, the BJP in a press meet claimed, the election was very peaceful and fair.

BJP leader, ex-MP Pratima Bhowmik threatened an Independent Candidate in front of Police Dhanpur.
