AGARTALA, Aug 4 (TIWN): Manmohan Tripura's body drowned in flood waters in Manughat Shyampara was finally found.
Manmohan Tripura's dead body was recovered from the land of Manughat Shyampara at 8 am on Sunday. Manmohan Tripura's body was brought to Sabroom sub-district hospital for post-mortem.
It is known that the water of Feni river and Manu river is flowing above the danger level. Shyampara is located near the confluence of Feni river and Manu river. The water of two rivers increased in Manughat, Harbatali area, causing flood.
On Saturday, Manmohan Tripura went out to see the flood scene and suddenly he was drowned by heavy water flow.
Local people, police, TSR, Sabrum Disaster Response Team, NDRF team searched for Manmohan Tripura all day yesterday but they could not trace him. The search resumed today morning and his dead body was found.
