Passing rates increased by 20% in Tripura Vidya Jyoti Schools' Class-12 exams

AGARTALA, Aug 4 (TIWN): Tripura Vidya Jyoti schools achieved 20% jump in Class-12 success rate.
Vidya Jyoti schools came under storms of controversy after last academic year’s pathetic performances giving the chance to opposition to raise demands for the shutdown of the Vidya Jyoti schools.
The Education Department data say, this year passing rate has increased by 20% for class-12 students.
According to reports, the passing rate was 55% last year which has now turned 75%, increasing 20% of the salaries.
92 schools in Tripura come under Vidya Jyoti which CBSE affiliated. A total of 9733 students appeared in the Class-12 examinations and 7302 students could pass the exams.
