AGARTALA / GANDACHERA, Aug 1 (TIWN): CPI-M State Secretary cum Opposition Leader Jitendra Chowdhury on Thursday visited Parameswar Reang’s home who was killed brutally by locals amid ongoing chaos where he was hit by an electric pole. Centering his death, a communal clash occurred among the locals there. Opposition leader Jitendra Chowdhury today visited the deceased house and talked to the family members. The opposition leader last week was prevented from visiting the area by police due to the law and order situation.

However, finally, he could pay the visit to extend support to both communities and people who were victimized centering this incident.
