Sugar Supplier’s Tender Invalidated : Sugar distribution to disrupt for 2 months

AGARTALA, July 29 (TIWN): Sugar distribution can not be resumed before September as the tender of the sugar distributor was invalidated, reported Tripura daily newspaper Dainik Sambad.
According to the report, it happened due to the tender was expired and needed to be redistributed.
A Food official said, in September month, three month’s sugar will be given at a time.
The report also claimed various other food items were running out of stock including daal, and cooking oil in some ration shops.
