AGARTALA, July 25 (TIWN): One 60 years old man has died in a road mishap in Sidhai.
After the accident, instead of taking the injured people to hospital, the deceased Paresh Debbarma’s daughter and son-in-law were allegedly beaten up.
Protesting against the incident public gathered on national highway in Sidhai and blocked the road.
Reportedly, a car bearing the number TR01 BY 0248 under Sidhai Police Station yesterday crushed a 60-year-old man named Paresh Debbarma who died in GBP hospital.
In protest of this incident, they blocked the road in Asrang area today to demand the arrest of the killer car and the driver.
Sidhai Police came to the scene and convinced the agitators that proper investigation will be held in this incident.
