AGARTALA, July 25 (TIWN): Local businessmen allege negligence of the authority has left a project half-done in Pratapgarh.
The project started in 2019 to develop the market area and a market shed-construction work started in this purpose but after five years of completion, nothing happened.
A total of 107 market stalls were built here which are still incomplete. Due to the lack of water and electricity in this market, traders are unable to run their business properly.
A bullet hit mark was found on a glass in the market shed which has raised question over the businessmen's security.
On the other hand, the local residents complained that drugs, alcohol, gambling and other anti-social activities are going on in the rest of the rooms of Market Stall. Local people said they will be forced to go to a bigger and bigger movement in the coming days if the issue is not resolved.
