TAKARJALA, July 25 (TIWN): In a disturbing report, a BJP leader was attempted to be murdered during a public rally.
The incident took place in Jampuijala, Khumulwng area when a public rally was going on.
Also, miscreants have allegedly vandalized BJP's local party office there.
The rally was held in Takarjala centering the upcoming Panchayat election ahead, when BJP leader Ramananda Debbarma attempted to be killed.
A total 4 rounds of firing were heard on the spot.
Getting information, police rushed to the spot. Also, a team of police visited the party office which was vandalized.
