AGARTALA, July 24 (TIWN): Tripura High Court has issued a notice to the state government raising concerns with the increasing percentage of AIDS patients in the state.
A justice wrote a letter to the Chief Justice and based on that, the High Court division bench issued the notice to the government, said High Court lawyer Kohinoor Narayan Bhattacharjee.
It can be mentioned here that many students of total 220 schools so far were found so far HIV-AIDS infected.
It has been suspected that due to drug consumption through syringes such infections are expanding. Out of all districts, West Tripura District is highest affected by HIV-AIDS.
Health Department official said, all such patients are taken proper care by the health department and measures have taken place against the spread of further infection.
