AGARTALA, July 24 (TIWN): In a fight among Umakanta Bengali Medium school’s senior students, two remain injured after they were attacked with a sharp knife and rod. This incident happened centering an outside incident, but what exactly happened, it’s not clear. West Agartala police, CRPF rushed to the spot and controlled the situation. Tension prevails inside the school premises with a huge number of public gathering reported. Guardians reached the school and met the teachers. The injured students' guardians had taken the students to the nearest hospital. Questions were raised over the role of the teachers and their failure to protect students during break periods. A police official, who was on duty said, that before police came to the school, the injured students were already hospitalized. Based on the complaint, police will investigate the matter.
