AGARTALA, July 22 (TIWN): Hindu devotees on Monday, which falls on the day-1 of Shravan month (as per Bengali calendar).
In various Shiva temples, people rush to offer prayers.
Milk, and water were poured on Shiva linga.
“I have offered prayers seeking blessings for my family. I come every year on this occasion,” said a housewife who came to a Shiva temple in Agartala to offer prayers.
