AGARTALA, July 2 (TIWN): The DYFI has staged a protest in Agartala voicing against various issues.

The demands they placed are such as ---- Vacancies in all departments including education, health must be filled quickly. Recruitment process of STGT, P.I GRS, Fire Service, Jail Police, Police, Group D should be completed quickly.

Private recruitment in government offices should be stopped.

Strict measures should be taken against drug dealers and to end the drug empire.

Necessary steps should be taken to restore education, health and electricity services.

The Indian Democratic Youth Federation announced a two-week agitation from today on these demands.

DYFI State Secretary Nabarun Deb, State President Palash Bhowmik, State Committee Member Sanjay Das and others were present at the press conference on the same day.
