New Delhi / Agartala, June 28 (TIWN): After Rahul Gandhi was not allowed to speak in the parliament after he raised NEET-UG scam issue, appeared on social media, Gandhi said, such obstacles are chocking the opposition voice to suppress this burning issue. Over 2 crores of students are affected by such scams as over 70 paper-leaks happened in last 7 years. Gandhi said, it shows the systemic corruption which needs to be wiped off.
In Tripura, Congress party has been protesting against the scam accusing Modi Govt of destroying the lives of the students.
Congress MLA Sudip Barman last Friday slammed the Modi government during a protest in Agartala organized by the party against the NEET-2024, UGC-NET-2024 scams which were exposed in recent times. Talking to the media, Barman said, Modi government is a government for scams and paper-leaks. He accused the government of organizing such scams in exchange for money and playing with innocent people’s lives.
“This government does not care if some patient killer doctors would graduate from medical colleges. It just needs money and that’s all. Due to paper-leaks some students who failed in class-12 got 720 out of 720 in NEET exam. Due to such corruption, the deserving candidates are not getting placement. The scammers are pushing the talented candidates behind,” said the Congress MLA.
“The government claims itself a Paramatma-government but it’s nothing but a pretatma government,” added Sudip Barman.
