AGARTALA, Jue 28 (TIWN): Congress party organized a meeting in Golaghati on Friday as a part of preparation for the upcoming Panchayat poll.

Congress party earlier stated that it might fight the Panchayat election independently though talks are going on regarding probable alliances.  

A meeting was organized at Kanchanmala market in the house of Congress leader Arun Bhattacharjee in the presence of state and local leaders.

After the meeting, Congress leaders stated it would fight the Panchayat election with full forces.
