AGARTALA, June 26 (TIWN): Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Wednesday said, out of 60 vacant posts, 59 candidates have passed in the officers (Group-A rank) posts.
“We have shortages of Agri-officers. We asked the TPSC to recruit the officers and accordingly, TPSC has approved the posts and recruited 50. One post which was vacant for retired officers could not be filled up,” said Nath.
“It was necessitated because if we want to turn Tripura agri-dependent, it needs huge manpower,” added Nath.
