SONAMURA, June 25 (TIWN): A youth was arrested with brown sugar, yaba tablets, phensedyl, and intoxicating syrup.

He was arrested in the joint operation of Sonamura police and BSF. The incident happened on Monday late night.

It is known that Inspector Biplab Debbarma of Sonamura police station along with SI Jagbandhu Debbarma and police personnel of Sonamura police station and NC Nagar BOP BSF jawans conducted the raid in Tamsabari area based on secret information and arrested drug dealer Mushfiqur Rahman along with 3500 yaba tablets, 14 grams of brown sugar, and 28 bottles of phensedyl and intoxicating syrup. Sonamura police station took a case against him under NDPS Act.
