AGARTALA, June 25 (TIWN): In the late night of June 21, some miscreants in group attacked on tea garden workers at Manu Valley.

The miscreants also destroyed the tea garden at a large, affecting the livelihood of the workers.

Protesting the incident today the workers of Manuvalli tea garden held a protest meeting in front of the garden office.

In the protest meeting, the workers demanded immediate arrest of the miscreants who uprooted the tea trees in the Jagannathpur tea garden.
