AGARTALA, June 20 (TIWN): CPI-M’s student wings SFI, TSU protested against the UGC-NET exam scam amid the ongoing protests across India already against NEET-2024 medical exam scam.
Today, SFI and TSU activists burnt effigy of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Talking to media, TSU Secretary Sujit Tripura said, “The 3.0 govt led by Narendra Modi started with two major education scams. First it was NEET-2024 and now it’s NET-2024. The government is playing with so many students’ lives.”
Notably, the UGC NET exam was canceled by the Ministry of Education on Thursday amid the ongoing protests.
The TSU Secretary further demanded sacking of the new education policy alleging, such schemes are actually opening the path for corruption and injustice.
