KAMALPUR / AGARTALA, June 19 (TIWN): In Srirampur area, many people's houses were flooded due to water-logging. The locals blocked road to draw the attention of the administration where Opposition Leader Jitendra Chowdhury’s vehicle was stuck.
Despite repeatedly informing the administration, no role was taken by the administration to drain the water. As a result, the people of the area were forced to block the road on National Highway No. 8.
The opposition leader of the state came to Kamalpur for the party's program and while returning to Agartala after the party's program he faced the blockade.
Standing with the people of this area and talking to the administration, Jitendra Chowdhury helped the administration to withdraw the blockade.
