AGARTALA, June 18 (TIWN): Amid rising unemployment, the TET qualifiers are now seeking recruitments in Tripura, where huge posts are lying vacant. The TET qualifiers, 2022-batch today gheraoed the education office and talked to the authority about their recruitment. Talking to media, an unemployed youth said, “In 2022 around 361 candidates passed in the exam and among them TET-1 B.Ed are now excluded. So merely 300 students are seeking for jobs when the department has almost 6000 vacant posts. We have requested the education department various times, but no development came. We urge the government to recruit us immediately and to save our lives.”
Schools in Tripura, especially the rural schools are suffering from teachers’ crisis but currently, around 300 TET passed-out students are seated jobless.
On Tuesday, the unemployed youths visited the Education Dept and requested the Education Director to take action to recruit them.
The job-seeking youth urged the Chief Minister to look into their matter and to recruit them soon.
