AGARTALA, June 15 (TIWN): Seeking Central Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation and re-examination of NEET-UG 2024, Tripura Youth Congress burnt an effigy of the Minister on Saturday in Agartala, Post Office Chowmuhani. The Congress activists said the Education Minister must immediately resign because he is directly involved in the scam in nexus with the tuition mafia leaking the question papers.
“As the issue is sensitive, to suppress the voice of the students, the NEET-UG 2024 result was declared on the day of the election result on 4th June whereas it was scheduled to be declared on 16th June. They did it so that media would not report about it as everyone is busy with the election reporting,” said a youth Congress activist.
Congress raised question how 79 students become toppers and got full scores in 2024 which never happened before in India.
The National Congress earlier slammed the Govt of India for allowing NTA itself to investigate its scam.
Right now, a case that was filed in the Supreme Court is going, on but the Supreme Court did not stop the counseling process of the NEET-UG 2024 scam.
