AGARTALA, June 14 (TIWN): Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha attended Observance of World Blood Donor Day- 2024.

The CM also handed over BCTV to District Hospital, Dhalai on the occasion.

He also talked to the blood donors at Voluntary Blood donation camp.

The main program was held at Rabindra Satabarsiki Bhavan, Hall-2,Agartala.

World Blood Donor Day is celebrated every year by people around the world on June 14. It is celebrated on the birthday anniversary of Karl Landsteiner on June 14, 1868. Landsteiner was awarded the Nobel Prize for his discovery of the ABO blood group system.
