MANU, June 10 (TIWN): In a breakthrough Manu Bazar Police traced a storehouse of stolen items, which is nowhere but an old building near the existing police station complex.
The theft items’ recovery was in connection to May 27’s incident, when several items including a school computer, CCTV, camera, monitor were taken from Manubazar H.S. school.
Later, a case was filed by the school authority at Manubazar police station, after which the police of Manubazar police station started investigating the incident. Police successfully arrested a thief named Tapas Pal from Manubazar Karmakar Para and also arrested Subrat Rudrapal, a resident of Manubazar Karmakar Para who was involved in various thefts in the area.
After the police interrogated the two of them, Tapas Pal and Subrata Rudra Pal said that they kept the stolen goods in the old police station house of Manubazar.
Accordingly, on Monday morning, the police of Manubazar police station took the thief Tapas Pal to the area and recovered the items.
“Computers, laptop, CCTV, camera, printer, and various were recovered from there and brought to Manubazar police station,” said OC of Manubazar police station Bishnupad Bhowmik.
