KUMARGHAT/ KAILASHAHAR/ AGARTALA, June 3 (TIWN): Taking advantage of unemployment, scammers are attempting to fool the job-seekers in Tripura, but on Monday a group of scammers were caught after they tried to influence ruling party supporter youth in Kuamrghat. According to a few ABVP, BJP Juba Morcha members (who exposed the scam), these people whom they know from the party level desperately tried to ask Rs. 1 lakh, to Rs. 2 lakh from youth after calling youth to join a meeting in a hotel. That weird appeal of money generated suspicion. Based on that, the ABVP and Juba Morcha activists interrogated them and found they were actually frauds and no way could provide any job to youth.
“We thought they called us to advise about our career and tell us something about how to get jobs but the way, they negotiated for money, it’s shocking. We have informed the police and handed them over. Now, police would look after the matter,” a BJP youth wing member said.
The youths identified one of them as Abdul Rahman, lives in Kailashahar and also in Simna.
Video received by TIWN shows how the youths exposed the frauds and giving light verbal lessons.
