AGARTALA, June 3 (TIWN): A preparatory meeting was conducted in Tripura BJP party headquarter chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Monday ahead of the Lok Sabha poll results that are to be declared on Tuesday. Tripura BJP party president Rajib Bhattacharjee, and Minister Pranajit Singha Roy also led the meeting. BJP leaders’ appeared more confident about winning due to exit poll’s bend towards Modi-led BJP. CM appealed to his party workers to refrain from getting provoked in any kind of violence and to maintain the peace and party’s dignity.
Sharing some of the glimpses of the meeting, CM wrote, “Counting of the 18th Lok Sabha elections is going to be held tomorrow, today I will hold a preparatory meeting at the party level focusing on this counting. We are sure that the re-establishment of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led NDA government led by our beloved Modiji with the full majority is only a matter of hours away. At this juncture, I appeal to the functionaries of the Bharatiya Janata Party at all levels to maintain the democratic tradition intact without indulging in any kind of incitement.”
