Giving details about the entire operation, West Agartala PS OC-Paritosh Das said, the arrest was made based on a complaint lodged by a house owner in the Bijoy Kumar Chowmuhani area.

According to the house-owner, two girls who are living in rent in his home often invite boys and he accused the girls of being involved in some illegal activities.

Based on the complaint, police arrested five boys and two girls.

OC Paritosh Das said, the detained persons are under interrogations and police would find out whether they are involved in any such illegal activities as complained by the house owner.
