SANTIR BAZAR, May 25 (TIWN): Santir Bazar police have arrested five Bangladeshi who entered India illegally.
Santir Bazar police conducted a raid in Bagafa Road area of Santir Bazar based on secret information on Friday night.
This operation was conducted with the initiative of Sanjib Lashkar, OC of Santir Bazar police station.
In the operation, 5 people were arrested from Bagafa Road area and brought to the police station.
Each of them came to Tripura illegally from Bangladesh. They are said to have come to Tripura in search of work. Police of Santir Bazar PS have registered a case against these 5 people for illegal entry.
On Saturday, 5 Bangladeshis were sent to Belonia District and Sessions Court.
