SONAMURA, May 23 (TIWN): Dilapidated conditions of roadways in Sonamura Nagar Panchayat, Ward No-12 have put the vehicle drivers in trouble adding daily miseries while driving on the road. With light rainfalls, the road turns muddy and risky for vehicles passing due to its several potholes and broken conditions across the area. The road comes under the Sonamura bypass route connecting it with Boxanagar. Most of the time, the road remains muddy and often suffers due to overflowing water. Amid requests by the local people to repair the road, the authority remains lame to the pleas. Local people demanded the government should act promptly to fix the roadways, so that common men are relieved from the daily miseries. Also, such conditions of road inviting road accidents in the locality.
