Agartala, 29 Aug, (TIWN) Fire Service Department has organised an awareness camp on ‘Fire Safety, Traffic Control and Disaster Management’ on Friday. Chairperson of Agartala Municipal Council Dr. Praffulajit Sinha inaugurated the camp.

The departmental officers spoke on the cause of different disaster and suggested measures to be taken in controlling fire, road-accident and post disaster rescue operations. MLA Asis Saha, local Councillor Ratna Saha was present among other dignitaries in the camp held at Maharajganj Bazar, Agartala. The camp was followed by a demonstration of a dydraulic rescue van.
