AGARTALA, May 11 (TIWN): Even though four persons have already been arrested by police, in Bharat Ratna Club Secretary Vicky's murder case it’s failing to come to any proper conclusion and unable to know who else was involved in this crime and how many shooters were involved. The murder weapon also could not be found. The crime took place before 12 days. Today, a lawyer said, arrested Akash Kar is one of the shooters in this case. There might be more people involved in it. “Akash Kar is one of the shooter suspects. Police sought 10 days remand and 5 days remand was accepted,” the lawyer said.

“It was found in CCTV footage that he was escaping with his wife. From his home also, one CCTV footage was collected where it was seen that both Akash and his wife left after around 20 minutes of the incident. Many charges were imposed on him. The weapon was not found though. After interrogating, police might find out the weapon,” he said.

“Regarding Susmita Sarkar and Pradyot Dhar, the investigation’s status will come out after four days,” he added.

The incident occurred April 31st evening at around 8 O’Clock after an unknown person covering his face shot Vicky. Vicky was rushed to the hospital but the Doctor declared him dead. Family members accused Raju Barman, Biman Das, and three more persons behind the murder case.
