BELONIA, May 1 (TIWN): Belonia police arrested two bikers for carrying marijuana on Wednesday.

Police officials of Belonia PS with the help of TSR force caught the accused persons during vehicle checking.

Police were fining the traffic law violators on the road. 

Meanwhile, a speeding bike came into the Bartila area and hit a pedestrian. Pedestrians including the bikers were seriously injured.

It is reported that Amal Majumdar along with his friend Subrata Debnath was coming to Belonia from Manaipathar by bike with 10 kg Cannabis.

The injured pedestrian has been identified as Subhankar Pal.
